REBECCA Gibney is on the move. The star of Halifax fp and Stingers has traded Melbourne's suburbs for rolling Tasmanian hills. Gibney and her husband Richard Bell (left), have discreetly sold their Hampton home and relocated to Tasmania this week.

They have bought a farm near Launceston swapping city hustle and bustle for rural tranquillity, with some horses, sheep, a couple of alpacas and two dogs.

They plan to keep an apartment in Melbourne for working trips. But Gibney is not cutting back her acting commitments. Far from it. She is considering several scripts following her work on Salem's Lot.
